· TYPE LOCALITY. "Hadschyabad" [Hadjiabad near Astrabad (Gorgan), N. Iran].

· RANGE. N. Iran (the Elburs and Zagros mts.), S. Transcaucasia.

· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The Armenian Highland (the southern part of the Zanghezursky Mts.). The record in Kopet-Dagh by Daricheva (1972) requires confirmation.

· HABITAT AND BIOLOGY. Eroded steppe habitats at 1,700-3,000 m a.s.l. Flight period: June-August.
